Ansonia Clock Co., New York, movement in a custom made parquetry case with the finest hounds tooth detail. 8-day, strike, C.1900. Note this movement is Ansonia's best round French style with rack striking and fancy brass dial with cartouche numerals and open escapement with eagle head support for top pivot.
CONDITION:
overall in excellent condition, only the most minor edge nicks not easily noticeable. Someone has hundreds of hours invested in making this case. Also with repair label from Hyde Park, Mass, dated 1910. Ht. 11"
